About the Artist

Thomas has been working with clay for over four decades. Trained in traditional pottery techniques, he believes in the beauty of simplicity, honest materials, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time. His work is inspired by the natural world and the belief that everyday objects can bring comfort, function, and meaning to our lives.

The Process

Each piece is thrown on the wheel, trimmed, and refined by hand. Thomas uses stoneware clay and high-fire reduction glazes, allowing the natural variations of fire and ash to create surface depth and character. No two pieces are exactly alike, and that is part of the beauty of handmade ceramics.
